Tournament of Minds Success

Kingsway Christian College is delighted to announce that, for the second year in a row, one of our Primary teams has been selected as overall State Winner in the 2009 WA State Finals of Tournament of Minds.

Tournament of Minds is a prestigious internationally recognised problem solving programme for teams of students from both primary and secondary years.

Our winning team was in the Primary Applied Technology discipline and is comprised of a very young but able team of students from Years 4,5 and 6. Three of the team members were in last year's team that won the State Final. Our teams competed against Scotch College and St Francis Xavier in the State Finals held in September 2009 and will travel to Brisbane to compete in the National Finals on 24th October.

The Kingsway Christian College Secondary Applied Technology team also made the State Finals and our Primary Maths Engineering team made it through to the Regional Finals.
