Fee Assistance The College understands that some families can find the payment of school fees difficult. This may be due to a low family income, or due to unexpected financial difficulties. The College has a genuine desire to help families afford Christian Education for their children, and therefore offer the following assistance: Fee Remission Discounted rates are offered on standard courses of study to families who have a financial need in the form of a low family income. To be eligible for a Fee Remission discount, families combined gross family income needs to fall below $45,000. Families wishing to apply for this discount can do so by filling out the College Fee Remission Application. If eligible, a discount will be given from the next school term. Please note discounts are not backdated. Fee Remission Application Form  Bursary Assistance  The College is able to offer bursaries to families experiencing severe financial difficulties. Funds for Bursary Assistance come from the college budget, as well as donations that are made by College families and staff for this specific purpose. Due to limited funds being available however, not all families who apply for Bursary assistance will be successful. If you would have a genuine need and would like to be considered for Bursary Assistance in 2009, you can click to download a Bursary Application Form or obtain one from the Cashier’s Window located at front reception. Families may also be asked to attend an interview to discuss their application. For further information please phone Maree or Neph in Business Services on 9302 8777 ext 713.  Secondary Assistance Scheme The West Australian Department of Education provides an allowance to assist eligible Parents/Guardians who are holders of either a Centrelink Family Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Blue Veterans Affairs Card and who have students currently enrolled in year 8-12 (who are not older than 17 years of age). If elegible families will receive a Clothing Allowance of $115 and an Education Program Allowance of $235. Application forms are available from Business Services. Applications close at the end of Term 1 each year.  Emmanuel - Kingsway Fee Sharing Discount Kingsway Christian College has a special partnership relationship with Emmanuel Christian Community School. In celebration of this partnership we offer discounted rates to families with a financial need, who have incoming Year 8 Emmanuel students or who have children in both Emmanuel Christian Community School and Kingsway Christian College. Families wishing to be considered for this discount need to apply at the commencement of each school year, by putting their request for assistance in writing to Business Services.  For further information about paying your school fees please contact our Business Services staff.
