The 2009 College production of “The Secret Garden – The Musical” was a wonderful success. Performed on the 29th and 30th October it featured a cast of nineteen amazingly talented students from Years 7 to 11. Students performed exceptionally to very large audiences on both evenings and received wonderful reviews from parents, staff, their peers and a large number of visitors to the College. These included Drama professionals from other Colleges and the wider community. 
Although the original version of The Secret Garden is traditional in its approach and content; our musical version creatively featured two appropriated, contemporary dance pieces for the viewing pleasure of our audiences. These were carefully choreographed by our talented Dance teacher Mrs Katie Clayton and performed by the College’s dedicated team of Dance students. In addition the team of cast members worked together under the direction of Dr Kathy Randall, the Director of Music, to hit all the right notes.

Special mention must also be made of the creative Set Design Club, the Make-up team, Front of House, the Backstage Crew, the dedicated Sound and Lighting team, the College Student Leaders and the College’s Maintenance Staff who all greatly contributed to the great success of this year’s College production.
