Clubs

Recent research indicates that extra/co-curricular activities contribute to students’ success at school. It is understood that extracurricular activities have positive effects on students who participate. Participation in school activities, especially athletics, leads to higher self-esteem and an enhanced status among peers. Some have argued that a positive self-esteem is a deterrent to antisocial behavior.

Active participation strengthens the school connection for all students, and it begins to promote positive characteristics, especially in the middle school years.

At Kingsway we offer after-school clubs which vary from term to term. They include sporting opportunities, The Arts, Chess and catch-up subject Clubs such as SIK Science.
