College Introduction
Kingsway Christian College was established in 1984 by four families who were seeking an education for their children based upon strong Christian beliefs and values. In February 1984 a Year 1-10 school was established with six teachers and 110 students.
After purchasing eight acres of land on the current sight, the first buildings were erected consisting of three permanent classroom blocks, a canteen, an undercover area and a transportable. The College was expanded after the purchase of additional property to offer Year 1-12 programs, with the first students graduating in 1988.
It is the desire of Kingsway Christian College to offer a Christ-centred education that is authentic and challenging. We aim to prepare our students for life by teaching beliefs and biblical values through a worldview that reflects the scriptures as the inspired Word of God. Our staff consider it a privilege to work with students and it is our goal to partner with parents in a way that will enable us all to work towards the best interests of our students.
At Kingsway Christian College we endeavour to offer an educational program that is innovative, reflecting best practice and catering for a broad academic range. We aim to empower our students to exercise their talents responsibly by leading a fulfilling life and making an active contribution towards social justice and the common good.
