Kingsway’s 10 Year Reunion

The class of 1998 enthusiastically celebrated their ten year reunion on 21 November 2008. Many had not been to the College since they left and were amazed at how it had grown and how many new buildings and facilities we have since their time.
Erin Bender was the co-ordinator for her year group and arrived heavily pregnant with only three weeks to full term. The Johnson Room was transformed for this special occasion with balloons and a 7 metre long banner. Erin had compiled some of her favourite songs for background music as everyone talked the night away.
Among the group was current sports teacher Lisa Stevenson who had this to say of the event.
“What a fabulous afternoon we had as we reminisced over stories and photos, caught up with old friends, and chatted about the present and the future for the 1998 graduates of Kingsway Christian College. There were about 35 people in attendance and great food and beverages were served. It was a great opportunity to catch up with people we perhaps hadn’t seen in awhile and hear about relationships and families that had formed. A great time was had by all and past students appreciated the schools hospitality, with the expectation of more reunions to come.”
